Navigate the map by dragging, zooming, or searching for an address to find your desired location.
Click on the map to start drawing your polygon. Double-click to complete the shape.
Press the ESC key at any time during drawing to cancel the current polygon.
Click multiple times to add vertices; the shape must have at least three points to calculate results.
You can drag existing vertices to adjust the shape.
Drag a midpoint on any polygon edge to insert a new vertex.
Only one polygon can be drawn at a time.
Check the results panel to view the area, perimeter, and number of vertices in various units.
Click the “Remove Polygon” button to delete the current shape and start over.
Calculate property sizes, lot dimensions, and land areas for real estate listings, property development, or personal reference.
Measure field sizes, crop areas, and irrigation zones to plan planting, estimate yields, or calculate resource requirements.
Calculate areas for urban development, zoning regulations, park planning, or infrastructure projects.
Measure protected areas, habitat zones, forest coverage, or watershed regions for environmental studies and conservation efforts.
Yes. You can drag existing vertices to adjust the shape or drag a midpoint on any edge to add a new vertex. The measurements will update automatically as you modify the shape.
Our area calculations use the spherical geometry of the Earth for high accuracy. For most practical purposes, the accuracy is within 0.1-0.5% depending on the size and location of the area being measured. For very large areas that span multiple latitudes, the accuracy may vary slightly due to the Earth's curvature.
Yes! The polygon drawing tool allows you to create shapes with any number of sides and angles. You can follow irregular boundaries like property lines, coastlines, or natural features by adding as many points as needed to accurately represent the shape.
We offer multiple units for area calculator including square meters (m²), square kilometers (km²), square feet (ft²), acres, and hectares. You can switch between these units at any time, even after completing your measurement, to see the area in your preferred unit. For distance measurement, we support meters (m), kilometers (km), miles (mi), and feet (ft), allowing you to view distances in the unit that best suits your needs.
